Decisions, decisions

So I have an issue...ever since my brother Isaiah started going to public school...he's made it sound so good. I like homeschool...but Isaiah gets to see his friends all the time, friends from my soccer team are there, and so it sounds great! Meanwhile I'm here, with a boatload of work to do, can't play with friends because I'm behind in math (which is sort of my fault), don't get to see my friends that often anyways, etc.
So this is the home school program I'm doing right now...Classical Conversations,
or CC for short.

This is the logo for Hoover Highschool. I was talking to my mom about it,
and she said that it'd be hard to go to Meredith Middle School now, because
it's so late in the year. So next year I'd be in high school, so Hoover is where I'd have to go
because it's the one that our neighborhood has to go to...so yeah. Please pray for me as
I pray and think about this. I'll do some research, and so forth, but this is a BIG decision for me...
because my dad didn't want to send Isaiah to public school, and my mom said that she and him were talking, and my mom said, "I'm concerned about him because he's not doing the work he did in Challenge A." And my dad said that he was concerned that because we were sending Isaiah to public school that I would want to go to public school as well, and he didn't want that...

Soccer

Oh and one more thing. I'd appreciate prayers for a big soccer tournament (at least it's a big thing for my team) that's coming up this weekend. Got a game on Friday night, then 3 on Saturday. Should I play goalie this weekend? It's a big decision...if you're goalie, you're pressured with the thought that your team wins/loses/ties with your decisions and reflexes. And it's a tournament!!! I don't know if I could do it...besides, I'm better on the field. Decisions, decisions!

Family Fall Retreat

This year my family got to go to the Family Fall Retreat up at StoryBook Lodge! It was a great camp and we all had a lot of fun!
They had these adorable puppies at the camp. The little gray one (not pictured)
is the cutest. I'll post him later

This is The Loft. Our good friends the L's stayed in this cabin.

Just past those trees is the caboose, and then past the caboose
is Kings Court. Both are nice cabins.

The trees in Minnesota are gorgeous...especially at night.
In fact, I went on a hike with some friends late at night the last day...
let's just say there was a lot of screaming, and people attempting to scare others...etc.
Oh well...you only live once, so better have a fun time when given the opportunity!

And this is the dining hall! Good times...and lots of good memories
in this building!

This is the sign for the cabin where WE stayed! North Mow...

Here's the cabin

This is the volleyball court by the shoe (below) is where we played
volleyball, practiced serving (no one got hurt), and just had fun!

Here's the shoe...looks REALLY authentic! Some friends from church
stayed in this cabin. There were 11 Iowan families in this Minnesotan camp!

I spent 45 minutes looking for an arrow that somebody (who shall remain nameless)
lost in the woods with an 80 lb. compound bow. I found it and got paid for finding it!
His brother was like "I should find more his arrows!" He said he didn't think I'd find it
because he just didn't think I'd actually take the time to do it! ;)
The boring drive back...

This is a game called Flow Free...which is what I played most of the time
on the way back.

It was the only one that didn't require Wi-Fi.
(Before)

(After)
So anyways, it was a great year at Family Fall Retreat. The days were full of eating, chapel, knock-knock ditching friends cabins, spying on people, meeting new people, archery, and just having fun!

Hello!

I like basketball, soccer, and volley ball. Im not very good at volleyball and I've never played it on a team, but my church friends like playing it so I play with them a lot, and I'm getting better. As for soccer and basketball, people saw i have raw and natural talent for it.
I LOVE basketball! It's just something I have the talent for
and I love it! I play for Upward basketball, but unfortunately this
year will be my last because I'll be too old next year. Then I hope to play
for a more "professional" league.
Let's seeee....what else...I love soccer! Soccer is a good sport, and even
though it requires a lot more running, it is very fun. I play for Northwest
Soccer Club, and do very well as goalie, according to my teammates. Maybe
I'll play that position more often!
I do like goalie a lot...not that I'm the best at it but I do like it. It's not
entirely comforting that you're team's lives are in your hands, so to speak
but it's fun!
Yes I do like volleyball a lot. I like it when there is a good long
volley and not just an ace. I like punching the ball when it come to me ;)
It's an unusual move because most people can't control it if they punch it.
I like it because I can send it over the net and usually land it when I do punch it!
